August 28, 2026

From August 26 to August 28, DIC EXPO 2026, the Display Innovation Collaboration Expo themed “Diverse Empowerment, Comprehensive involution,” kicked off in grand style at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As the annual barometer of the global display industry, this exhibition brought together the entire display industry chain—from upstream materials and equipment to downstream end-user applications—focusing on cutting-edge sectors such as Mini/Micro-LED, OLED, AI glasses, and in-vehicle displays, to collectively explore and shape a new paradigm for display technology in the era of all-scenario applications.

Jingce , a leading enterprise that pioneered the localization of display metrology in China, made a spectacular appearance at the event, showcasing cutting-edge display metrology technologies, AI-powered innovative products, and comprehensive metrology solutions. The company presented a full range of intelligent metrology and yield management solutions covering multiple display technology routes and spanning all sectors and manufacturing processes, continuing to lead the innovative integration of display metrology and AI technology.

Liu Ronghua (second row, fifth from the left), Director and Deputy General Manager of Jingce Electronics Group, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the conference.

Concurrently with the exhibition, high-profile industry forums such as the DIC Forum on Display Industry Innovation and Cooperation, the 2026 AI-Driven AR/VR Core Components Innovation and Mass Production Investment Summit, and the 2026 Global Pioneer Display Technology Launch were held as scheduled. Jingce was invited to take the stage to deliver keynote presentations on topics including mass production pain points across the entire display industry, AI-driven innovations in metrology and inspection technology, and the construction of near-eye optical measurement systems for AR/VR. The company engaged in discussions with industry experts on the mutually reinforcing relationship between intelligent testing and smart manufacturing, jointly pioneering new frontiers in display yield management and continuously advancing the ultimate visual experience for smart devices.

Forward-Looking Perspectives, Collaborative Discourse | Empowering High-Quality Development in the Display Industry

Liu Ronghua, Director and Deputy General Manager of Jingce Electronics Group, delivered a keynote speech titled “AI-Driven Innovation in Measurement and Inspection: Jingce Electronics’ Quality Insight Paves the Way for a New Era in Display Yield Management” at the DIC FORUM Display Industry Innovation and Cooperation Forum, which garnered an enthusiastic response from the audience.

Liu Ronghua noted that the display industry is currently evolving toward ultimate visual experiences, intelligence, and diversification, with technological pathways such as large-size/foldable OLED screens, mass transfer of Micro-LEDs, ultra-high PPI Micro-OLEDs, and near-eye AR/VR displays developing in parallel. As the complexity of test objects has surged, data coordination has become inefficient, and the implementation cycle for intelligent testing remains lengthy, metrology and inspection has become a key bottleneck constraining mass production in the display industry.

To address these industry pain points, Jingce has taken the lead in deeply integrating AI with metrology and  inspection technology to create the system-level QI (Quality Insight) yield management platform, establishing a comprehensive yield control system comprising a “Color Management Platform + Production Data Hub + Intelligent Evolution Engine.” This system achieves a closed-loop process spanning front-end inspection, mid-stream management, and back-end optimization, empowering customers to continuously improve their process technology and yield levels. It facilitates efficient, precise, and scalable yield management in manufacturing scenarios, pioneering a new era of end-to-end, full-scenario smart manufacturing yield management in the display sector.

Ou Changdong, Deputy General Manager of the Display Business Group at Jingce Electronics Group, delivered a keynote speech titled “Building a Micro-LED Mass Production Ecosystem Together, Winning the Future of the New Display Industry” at the 2026 AI-Driven AR/VR Core Component Innovation and Mass Production Investment Summit. He stated that with the rapid breakthroughs and growth of near-eye display devices such as AR/VR/AI glasses, “Micro-LED + light waveguide” is expected to become the ultimate display solution for near-eye devices. At the same time, challenges in mass production—such as brightness and spectral measurement and calibration, as well as defect detection and repair for Micro-LED displays—are becoming core issues constraining the industry’s mass production capabilities.

Based on its “optical-mechanical-electrical-algorithm-software” self-developed integrated technology platform, Jingce has innovatively launched a innovative display metrology and inspection solution. Leveraging core metrology and inspection equipment across the entire manufacturing process—including optoelectrical performance measurement at the wafer stage, ATE electrical performance testing, gamma calibration, defect detection, and repair at the module stage, as well as optoelectrical performance measurement for light waveguides and projectors—the company has overcome industry-wide technical bottlenecks through “optics + AI” metrology and inspection, thereby establishing a closed-loop data system across the entire supply chain and enabling intelligent inspection throughout the entire process.

During the subsequent roundtable forum, Ou Changdong provided a detailed explanation of the high standards for quality and efficiency required in Micro-LED mass production lines, as well as how Jingce Electronics is driving the industrialization of near-eye displays—such as AR/VR/AI glasses—from the laboratory to the end user. Through industry dialogue and the exchange of ideas, participants sought new drivers to propel the industry forward and jointly envisioned the future landscape of the next-generation display industry.

Hong Hao, Senior Product Manager at Jingce Electronics Group, delivered a presentation titled “Dual Breakthroughs in Efficiency and Accuracy: Innovative Practices in innovative Display inspection Equipment” at the DIC FORUM 2026 Global Pioneer Display Technology Launch Event, focusing on the industry challenges in mass production along the AR supply chain.

Jingce  focuses on industry challenges in the mass production of the AR supply chain—such as testing accuracy, consistency, and inefficiency caused by the miniaturization and ultra-high brightness of micro-displays. By utilizing a sub-micron high-resolution optical system, the company developed the μSLT-330M, enabling sub-pixel-level defect detection and DeMura repair for Micro-LED/OLED micro-displays. Building on the breakthrough in mass production, the company has further upgraded the system across multiple dimensions, including testing accuracy, repair upgrade rates, and efficiency.

Additionally, in the field of display viewing angle measurement, Jingce introduced the TVCM03X multi-view optical inspector, featuring the world’s first three-sided fixed spectral array technology. This technology drastically reduces the spot size, with a minimum spot size of 1 mm across three directions and N angles (0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°). Designed for the microscopic environments of micro-displays, it offers three times the efficiency of traditional solutions, achieving dual breakthroughs in precision and efficiency and setting a new industry benchmark for precision optical instruments.
