The Black Mura evaluation system is a professional quantitative assessment system for the uniformity of black states in automotive displays. It is based on the German DFF "Uniformity Measurement Standard for Displays," developed by the German Association for Automotive Displays (including automakers such as BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz), and is one of the core standards for automotive display quality control in Europe.
Black Mura refers to visual defects such as uneven brightness, blemishes, cloudiness, and gradient differences that appear on a screen in a completely black environment. It is a key indicator affecting the contrast and visual experience of automotive displays.
